We welcome new members – Altos, Sops, Tenors and Basses- throughout the year. Starting at the beginning of a new term has many advantages but should you suddenly discover CCS half way through the year, rest assured, we will help you settle in and become familiar with the music we’re preparing at that time.
You don’t have to become a member immediately; just come to a couple of rehearsals first, then make up your mind whether you like us and our repertoire!
Our annual membership is £210, reduced to £150 for members under 35. Students in fulltime education; £100. This includes the loan of music, as well as fees for Saturday workshops in the lead-up to concerts.
You pay a reduced sub if you sing with us for only part of the year and arrangements can also be made by agreement with the Chair or Treasurer for the payment of subscriptions on a termly basis.
The summer tour is an optional extra, not covered by the annual subscription. But when setting the budget we try to be as inclusive as possible. Non-singing partners, who are always welcome, pay a reduced fee.
We meet every Monday evening, 8pm-10pm at CHRIST CHURCH, Chorleywood Road, Chorleywood, Rickmansworth WD3 5SG.
